Local Radius rule: No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on drivers license)

Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update:  unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
 

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back:  1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: $9/hr
• Charge/Precept: $6/hr

Billable OT: 
 

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

Department prefers to have an RN that is willing, and open to extending past the initial 13 weeks

 

• 24 months minimum of experience in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele [required]
• No 1st time travelers accepted -- must have completed at least '1' travel contract within the previous 18 months
• proficiency caring for ALL Patient Types -- variety of med surg patients [required]
• EPIC experience [required]
• experience with Heparin [required]
• skills in telemetry/cardiac background [highly preferred]
   
• CHARGE experience ]required]
• precept experience [nice to have]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
 

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / med surg tele experience [highly preferred]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (med surg / medical surgical / Med Surg Tele) – [required]
• Nursy’s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission – [required] [document]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver’s License [document] [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support – [required]
