Description

RN – Labor & Delivery | Fairbanks Memorial Hospital

Shift: 12-hour nights
Unit: 17-bed LDRP
Experience: 3+ years of recent hospital-based L&D experience plus travel experience
Preferred: 5+ years of RN experience
Required Recent Experience: Postpartum, couplet care, and circulating for C-sections
License: Alaska RN license; if not currently licensed, application must be started within 24 hours of acceptance
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
Patient Care: Labor, postpartum, couplet care, and triage
Volume: Approximately 80 deliveries/month
Floating: May float to all departments as needed
Weekend: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
On-Call: 3 shifts per 6-week period
Holiday: Per unit needs
Housing: Free housing for 1 occupant; pet units unavailable
RTO: Up to 14 days may be requested, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts. All RTO must be submitted at the time of submission.
Local Radius: Candidate's permanent residence must be 50+ miles from Fairbanks
