Schedule

• Nights: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4x12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours/week available
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Orientation: 24 hours
• 48 hours at straight time allowed

Requirements

• 1.5+ years ICU experience; 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS
• Strong adult ICU experience
• 1:2 ICU patient ratio experience
• Pending NM RN license accepted
• Must be willing to work weekends
• 50-mile local radius – local candidates not accepted

• Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
• ABG interpretation
• Arterial line management
• Central line/PICC management
• Blood product administration
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Continuous IV sedation
• IV insulin protocols
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Acute/chronic renal failure
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
