Travel LPCC/CSWC - Substance Use Disorder Clinician
Location: Colorado
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Start Date: October/November 2026 (pending background clearance)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, weekdays only
Shift Options: 4x10s or 5x8s (flexibility required)
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and mental health services within a secure institutional setting. The clinician will conduct assessments, provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Active Colorado LPCC (Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate) or CSWC (Clinical Social Worker Candidate) license in good standing through Colorado DORA
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or related clinical settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a structured and secure environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and brief therapeutic interventions
- Deliver crisis intervention and behavioral health support as needed
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical and multidisciplinary teams regarding patient care
- Facilitate continuity of care through referrals and care coordination
- Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment goals and recovery strategies
- Ensure compliance with professional, organizational, and regulatory standards
