Description
General Information
Beds: 2 Cath labs, 2 Hybrid peripheral/OR
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years minimum with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI and peripheral experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
Travelers must live 100 miles away from facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Required Certifications: Cath Lab Tech: BLS, ACLS, RT or equivalent or RCIS is required
Required Education: Tech: AA/AAS Degree

Patient Types:
Coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, peripheral stenosis, thrombosis disease, Impella insertion, LVAD insertions, etc.
Skills required:
Tech:
2 years minimum with coronary, complex PCI, and peripheral experience
Tech must be able to perform table movement (panning)
Arrhythmia recognition and treatment, critical patient assessment skills
Will not have to float to IR; IR and Cath Lab are separate departments
