Description
UNIT: PACU
Exp Required: 1 yr. Will NOT accept first time traveler
Required Licensure and Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI/MOAB – all certifications must be in hand, prior to submission
EMR: Epic
Case Types: Ages: Peds and Adults. GYN. General. Robotics: Bariatric, Prostate, Hernia, Gallbladder, Hysterectomy. Urology. Ortho. Ortho/Spine
Podiatry. Cataracts. ENT. ENDO: Colon, EGD, ERCP, Bronchoscopy
Vascular
Skills required: Comfortability with the above case types – must have experience in ALL. Critical Care experience and competencies with ICU cases including hemodynamic drips and ventilated patients. Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients. Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available. IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions
Floating: Will float throughout the unit – Preop, PACU - Phase 1 and Phase 2
