Schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend
Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday, likely Labor Day
On-Call: 1 night per week + every 4th weekend
Minimum Experience: 1+ year
 

JOB SUMMARY:
 

Seeking an experienced CVIR / Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to support both Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology services. The technologist will primarily work in the Cath Lab and must be comfortable scrubbing and assisting with invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ year of experience in an invasive cardiovascular or procedural environment.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • **Electrophysiology (EP) Lab)
• Cath Lab experience is required because the technologist will float between Cath Lab and IR.
• Strong Cath Lab scrub experience required.
• IR scrub experience also required.
• Cath Lab experience should be stronger than IR experience. 

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• AHA BLS – Required
• Radiologic Technologist License (LRT) through KSBHA – Required
• ARRT – Radiography (R) – Required
• RT(VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiography – Preferred
• AHA ACLS – Preferred 

LICENSURE / CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• All required licenses and certifications must be active at the time of submission.
• No pending licenses or certifications will be accepted.
• No hits/issues on license – no exceptions.
• All required credentials are due at submission. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide radiologic technology support for Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Perform duties in both Cath Lab and IR as required.
• Serve as a scrub technologist during invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and sterile fields.
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during complex invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards.
• Operate and assist with radiographic/interventional imaging equipment.
• Support patient positioning, preparation, monitoring, and safe movement throughout procedures.
• Follow radiation-safety protocols and established departmental procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary procedural team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and regulatory requirements. 

SCHEDULE:
 

Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 4 × 9-hour shifts/week
On-Call: 1 night/week + every 4th weekend
Weekend: Every 4th weekend
Holiday: 1 holiday, likely Labor Day
