School CNA – Lenexa, KS Area
Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated CNA for a part-time, school-based position in the Lenexa, KS area for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details
- Pay: $21-$24 per hour
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Remainder of the 2026-2027 school year
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–12:30 PM
- Hours: Approximately 23.5 hours per week
- Setting: Elementary School
- In-person position
- Specific elementary school placement will be determined
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- Experience working with children preferred
- School-based experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable supporting students with health and personal care needs
Responsibilities
- Provide health and personal care support to students under the direction of the school nurse
- Monitor students for changes in health or medical needs
- Assist with mobility and activities of daily living as needed
- Follow individualized student health and safety plans
- Communicate with the school nurse and educational team regarding student needs
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students
- Assist the school nurse with additional student health needs and tasks as appropriate
