o    Day Shift –  23pt 1charge 4nurses and 2 PCTs

·         Patient Ratios – 1:6

·         Type of equipment – Charting system is Meditech Alaris IV pumps, Wound Vac, Trach, Suction, Kangaroo epump, Kendall SCD

·         EMR – Pyxis machine to remove medications and Meditech to chart medications

·         Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) –

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·          Med/Surg Experience

·         BLS

·         Starting IV, Foley insertion/management, NGT insertion/management, Colostomy system exchange, Drain Management (JP, Hemovac, Wound Vac)

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·          Chest Tube Management

·          Port a Cath Access and De-Access competencies
