Description
- Position: X-Ray Technologist
- Shift: Nights – 10 hours
- Schedule:
- Sunday: 7:30 PM–6:00 AM
- Monday: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Tuesday: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Wednesday: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Call: None
- Weekend: Yes – Sunday only
Position Summary
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Works at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.
- Provides straightforward explanations and instructions to patients.
- Helps foster patient comfort and confidence.
- Ensures individual patient needs are met.
- Operates and maintains assigned imaging department equipment, including X-ray.
- Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture physician-requested images.
- Performs imaging exams as ordered according to established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
- Ensures the physician on duty is notified of results.
Required Experience
- 2+ years of X-Ray experience – Required
- X-Ray experience – Required
- Travel experience – Required
- Health system-wide profile standards apply.
Required Certifications
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
