Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Echo Technologist to join the cardiology department at a premier 399-bed Trauma Level II facility. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac sonography exams and echocardiograms to support patient care and clinical operations under general facility guidelines.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of current Echo Tech experience – REQUIRED
- Proficiency in performing comprehensive Echocardiograms and diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Ability to operate advanced cardiac sonography imaging equipment safely
- Strong documentation skills utilizing the Cerner EMR system
- Alignment with strict facility patient safety and operational workflows
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – REQUIRED
Education & Licensure:
- Certified as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the CCI – REQUIRED [DOCUMENT]
Language:
- English – Speak, Read, and Write

Additional Information:
- Overtime / Holiday Multiplier: 1.1x regular rate
- Call Back Multiplier: 1.1x regular rate
- Non-Billable Hours (NBO): 12 hours of initial orientation/setup hours are non-billable
- Extension Discount: $1.00 / hour reduction on the initial contract extension
- Local Traveler Rule: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35-mile radius of the facility is considered a local traveler, and their travel rate will be reduced by 10%
- Attendance Policy: Sharp compliance to McLaren's strict three-strike attendance policy (strikes issued for unapproved absences, arriving >20 mins late, or leaving early)
- Facility Status: Trauma Level II, Nicotine-Free Campus, 399 Beds, Non-Teaching Facility
