Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location/Region: Houston, TX
Contract Length: 8–13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekends/Holidays: Not required unless approved in advance
On-Call: None

Requirements

• 2 years of recent licensed SLP experience required
• Home Health experience required
• No new graduates
• This can be the candidate’s first travel assignment as long as they have Home Health experience
• BLS and First Aid required
• Must be comfortable using WellSky for documentation/charting

Productivity & Mileage

• Weekly productivity: 32–34 points
• Point system: 1 visit = 1 point
• Drive time: Paid
• Mileage: Paid up to GSA maximum
• Drive time is considered when scheduling and calculating weekly hours.
• If drive time causes the SLP to exceed 40 hours/week, overtime will be paid.
• No Start of Care (SOC) visits are expected. If SOC visits are added, they would likely count as approximately 3 points due to the AI component.

Other Details

• Missed visits: SLP must call in and report all missed visits.
• SLP must also call in regarding evaluation frequency issues or if they are unable to contact a patient.
• Dress Code: Clean, professional attire/scrubs with closed-toe shoes.
• Jewelry: No facial jewelry except a small nose stud and earrings.
• Housing: Candidates should research and confirm housing availability/costs in the Houston area before submission.
