Hours: 36 hours/week (Guaranteed)
Schedule: 5 days/week (Monday through Friday)
Shift: 8-hour shifts
Start Time: 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
On-Call: Split by 4, usually 2 days/week with an off week (Rotates during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Weekend Call: Rotational call applies; no regularly scheduled weekend day shifts
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. The applicant will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, which includes operating X-ray equipment (Siemens Artis Zee C-arms). Other duties include helping with pre/post areas, patient transporting, inventory management, and billing.
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years of current Cath Lab experience – REQUIRED
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating clinical procedures – REQUIRED
- Hands-on proficiency with specialized devices including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices – REQUIRED
- Ability to handle complex procedures: Left/Right Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, Carotid diagnostic/stenting, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostics
- Recent traveler experience – Preferred
- Active RCIS certification – REQUIRED
- Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications – REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Education & Licensure:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential or compact equivalent – REQUIRED [DOCUMENT]
- 1-Year NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification – REQUIRED
Language:
- English – Speak, Read, and Write

Additional Information
- Overtime / Holiday / Call-Back Multiplier: Blended rate applies; no increased rate markup for OT, Holiday, or Call-Back
- Orientation Schedule: Allied/Therapy travelers strictly start facility orientation on Tuesdays
- Local Traveler Policy: Applicants residing within a 50-mile radius of Comanche County will be considered at an 11% reduction from the standard travel bill rate
- Client Rebate Policy: Client enforces a 1% rebate of all billings related to this assignment (excluding passthrough expenses)
- Facility Profile: 265-bed regional referral center and integrated delivery system
- Submission Profile Requirements: Complete updated Work History, current 1-year specialty-specific Skills Checklist, 2 Supervisory Reference Forms from the past 2 years, clear copies of active Licensure/Certifications (RCIS/Compact, BLS, ACLS), and verified Permanent Address
