Job Description:

Position: Surgical Technologist

Location: Fall River, Massachusetts

Setting: Acute Care Hospital 

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Mix of 8-hour shifts (7:00am-3:30pm) and 10-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm)
• On-call rotation required
• Weekday call at end of scheduled shifts
• Weekend call rotation required
• Approximately 6-7 call shifts every 6 weeks

Travel Pay Package:

• $2,209 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Local Pay Package:

• $1,960 per week total

Overview:

• Work in a busy surgical department with 9 operating rooms, 2 endovascular ORs, and 2 urology suites
• Assist surgeons during a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile fields and prepare surgical instruments and equipment
• Utilize advanced surgical technologies including Da Vinci Robotics and Mako Total Joint systems
• Support endovascular procedures including TEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, angiograms, and venograms
• Provide care for adult and adolescent patient populations
• Work closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams in a fast-paced environment

• Southcoast may cancel up to one shift length in a 4-week period due to low census

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Must be nationally certified
• Da Vinci Robotics experience required
• Mako Total Joint experience required
• Endovascular experience required
• Experience with TEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, angiograms, and venograms required
• EPIC experience preferred
