Description

IMC / Progressive Care RN | Madison, WI

Facility: University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI
Units: IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care and IMC Thoracic
Shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 12-hour days
Schedule: Every other weekend; some holidays
Patient population: Adults; acute medical, thoracic, and post-lung transplant
Ratios: General care 1:4; IMC 1:2
Experience: 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years; travel experience
Required specialties: PCU/stepdown, cardiac telemetry, telemetry oncology, ventilator care, and transplant care
Facility experience: Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar-size hospital
License: Active Wisconsin RN or compact RN
Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
Charting: Epic
Floating: Required as needed
Testing: Telemetry exam required before start
Local rule: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted
Flu vaccine: Required; medical or religious exemptions considered
