🔥 DAY-SHIFT CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER CONTRACT – BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL (MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM)

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) in Boston, Massachusetts. Operating within the high-volume EKG / Echocardiography Laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH)—a world-renowned Harvard Medical School teaching hospital—this position features a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (08:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday). NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! If you are an experienced cardiac sonographer proficient in adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), exercise/dobutamine stress echoes, Doppler hemodynamic assessment, and portable inpatient imaging looking to earn $2,440/week in the heart of Boston's Longwood Medical Area, this premier assignment is built for you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,440.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,800.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (08:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED!
Facility & Department: Brigham and Women's Hospital / EKG Lab (BW7422) (SO00003164) located at 70 Francis Street.
Clinical Scope & Procedures:
- Comprehensive 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Spectral, and continuous wave Doppler echocardiograms.
- Performing exercise and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms with high-level diagnostic image analysis.
- Inpatient bedside portable studies throughout acute care floors and ICUs (requires transporting portable ultrasound systems).
- Pathologic identification: Wall motion abnormalities, LV regional function, pericardial/pleural effusions, stenotic and regurgitant valvular lesions, and congenital heart defects.
- Chart review, preliminary report documentation, and urgent notification of critical findings to referring house officers and cardiologists.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated acute care Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist experience (academic/tertiary hospital background preferred).
Certifications Required:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements:
- Mass General Brigham (MGB) Candidate Submission Coversheet & Beeline Attestation.
- MGB Skills Checklist.
- Massachusetts CORI background clearance and standard health compliance.
