🔥 40-HOUR DIAGNOSTIC ULTRASOUND SONOGRAPHER CONTRACT – BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S FAULKNER HOSPITAL

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (General / Vascular / OB Ultrasound Tech) in Boston (Jamaica Plain), Massachusetts. Operating within the Radiology Ultrasound Department at Brigham & Women’s Faulkner Hospital—a leading member of the Mass General Brigham (MGB) healthcare system—this position features a guaranteed 40-hour weekly schedule across a dedicated Thursday–Sunday block. If you are an ARDMS-certified sonographer with 3+ years of clinical experience specializing in abdominal and obstetrical/gynecological sonography looking to earn $2,440/week in the historic Boston area, this premier MGB assignment is built for you!

Weekly Gross: $2,440.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,800.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: 40 Hours Guaranteed Weekly across a defined 4-day block:
- Thursday: 08:00 AM – 16:30 PM (8 hrs)
- Friday: 23:00 PM – 07:00 AM (8 hrs)
- Saturday: 19:00 PM – 07:00 AM (12 hrs)
- Sunday: 15:00 PM – 23:00 PM (8 hrs)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
On-Call Requirements: Standby on-call coverage required per department operational needs.
Facility & Department: Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital / RAD. ULTRASOUND (FH6304) (SO00003529).
Clinical Scope & Procedures: Comprehensive diagnostic examinations including complete abdomen, small parts (thyroid, testicular), pelvic/transvaginal scans, first/second/third-trimester OB evaluations, vascular/Doppler imaging, and emergency department urgent sonography.
Core Competencies: Patient positioning, acoustic optimization, identifying acute pathologies, preliminary report drafting, and collaborative consultation with radiologists and attending physicians.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated clinical Sonography experience in an acute hospital or urgent imaging setting.
Specialty Expertise: Solid, verified competency in Abdomen (AB) and OB/GYN is strictly required.
Certifications Required (Document in hand):
- Active ARDMS Certification (RDMS with AB and/or OB/GYN credentials).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements:
