We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coordinated, patient-centered nursing care to an assigned group of patients. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team while using clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making to deliver safe and effective care.

The RN will also help coordinate and supervise the activities of assigned nursing staff and ensure patient care is delivered according to established standards and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care according to the nursing process.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in their condition.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff as appropriate.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Use critical thinking and independent clinical judgment in patient-care decisions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.
• Follow established nursing standards, hospital policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Coordinate interventions and follow-up care as needed.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and promote a safe patient-care environment.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• EPIC experience – REQUIRED.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS – REQUIRED.
• CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• BSN – Preferred.
• Acute-care hospital experience – Preferred.
• Ability to work 3 × 12-hour night shifts.
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved.
