Shift: Days
Schedule: 40 hours/week, primarily 8-hour day shifts
Contract Weeks: 91
Call: Rotating call required
Weekend/Holiday: Required rotation
Call Response: Must be able to report within 30 minutes when on call
 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in International Falls. The MRI Technologist will perform MRI examinations, provide safe and compassionate patient care, and support multiple imaging modalities as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, comfortable working independently, and willing to cross-train in additional imaging areas.
 

Schedule:
 

Potential shift times include:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Weekend, holiday, and rotating on-call responsibilities are required.
 

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, preparation, and monitoring throughout MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Participate in rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.
• Respond within 30 minutes when assigned to on-call duty.
• Float to other imaging modalities as needed, including:
  • X-Ray
  • CT
  • Mammography
  • DEXA
  • Fluoroscopy
• Maintain compliance with departmental procedures, radiation/imaging safety standards, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous MRI Technologist experience – REQUIRED.
• MRI certification through ARRT – REQUIRED.
• AHA BLS – REQUIRED and must be in hand at submission.
• Associate Degree – REQUIRED.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on assigned day shifts.
• Must be available for rotating call, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes while on call.
• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing departmental needs.

Preferred Experience:

• CT experience preferred.
• Mammography experience preferred.
• TruBridge experience preferred.
• Candidates without TruBridge experience may be considered if they are willing to train.
• Candidates with limited CT/Mammography experience may be considered if they are eager to learn and cross-train.
