Description

Endoscopy RN

Position: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy
Location: Geneva, NY
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: Days/Night /Evenings
Weekly Pay: $2707.00/week

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN to provide quality nursing care to patients undergoing GI and endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care.
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures.
Administer medications and sedation as ordered and within scope of practice.
Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure education.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

Active RN license
Current BLS certification
At least 1 year of recent Endoscopy/GI nursing experience
