Position Overview

Arc Health is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for a full-time outpatient locum assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

This position focuses on comprehensive pediatric primary care, including preventive services, well-child visits, acute care, developmental screenings, immunizations, and ongoing management of pediatric health needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care to infants, children, and adolescents
  • Conduct well-child visits and preventive examinations
  • Evaluate and treat acute pediatric conditions
  • Perform developmental and behavioral screenings
  • Provide immunizations and anticipatory guidance
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications within scope of practice
  • Educate patients and families regarding health, nutrition, and safety
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental providers

Requirements

  • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona APRN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • PALS preferred
  • DEA registration as applicable
  • 3+ years of outpatient pediatric or comparable experience preferred
  • Community health experience preferred
  • Must meet credentialing and background screening requirements
  • Must be local to the Phoenix area
