House Supervisor – RN – Nights

• Patient ratios (if known): Within the Guidelines of CA law
• Float Requirements: All Kaiser Facilities expect their employees to float across various departments that will fall within their scope of specialty
• Is RTO Accepted? Yes
  • What is the Max: Up to 4 days max RTO approved
• On Call Requirement: NO
• Certs: ACLS, BLS, Fire Card
• License: Active CA RN License
  • If the CA License has expired, it will need to be renewed
  • If applying for the CA License, please get in touch with the Senator's office to expedite the application

Experience:

• Experience as a house supervisor required
• Past Kaiser experience is preferred
• Someone who is a multi-tasker, a quick learner, organized, and can manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Will be doing a lot of operational work and supporting with projects.
• Great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow.
• Travel Experience preferred, however, not required
• Hospital needs clear and meaningful communicators to improve our outcomes
• Previous KP employees who were terminated will not be accepted for submission or placement 

Job duties:

• Oversee all patient care departments during the shift; ensure smooth operations across units
• Monitor staffing levels and skill mix; adjust assignments or call-in additional staff if needed to meet patient acuity demands.
• Track hospital census; manage admissions, discharges, transfers, especially when critical care units are involved.
• Identify available beds across units, coordinate placement of new critical patients, and ensure that high acuity patients are directed appropriately.
• Facilitate patient flow, minimizing delays to open beds for incoming critical care admissions.
• Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure needed support services are available.
• Liaise between clinical units, leadership, and ancillary services. Communicate shifts in status

Scrub Color Requirement: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
