Surgical Technologist – Milwaukee, WI

What You’ll Do

Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including ortho, GYN, and general cases
Maintain sterile field and ensure proper instrumentation throughout procedures
Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
Anticipate surgeon needs and provide efficient intraoperative support
Collaborate with RNs, surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical team members
Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and sterile processing standards

Case Mix & Technology

Top Cases: Orthopedic, GYN, General Surgery
Additional exposure to bariatrics, urology, plastics, and robotics
Robotics: DaVinci XI and Stryker Mako (robotic experience required)
EMR: Epic
Equipment: GE C-arm (setup), Alaris pumps, Pyxis

Must-Have Credentials

BLS (AHA)
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
2–3 years of recent surgical tech experience
Strong experience in ortho, GYN, and general cases
Robotics experience (DaVinci preferred)

Schedule & Call

Day shift based on surgical schedule (no early flex before 6:00 AM)
Call required: weeknights, weekends, and holidays (shared evenly among team)
Weekend rotation primarily on-call coverage

Exposure to a wide variety of surgical procedures (20+ cases daily)
Structured orientation (3–5 days) with preceptor guidance
