Travel Sonographer – Adult Echo

Location: Morristown, NJ

Schedule: Thurs–Sun | 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 38 hours/week
 

Must-Have Requirements

• TAVR TTE experience is required
• Must have experience scanning patients with severe/critical aortic stenosis prior to TAVR
• Minimum 200 documented inpatient echocardiography cases
• Strong Adult Echo experience
• Valvular assessment, spectral Doppler & Pedoff skills
• Contrast echocardiography & agitated saline studies
• Ability to independently recognize and respond to critical findings
• ARDMS or CCI cardiac sonography credential
• BLS – AHA

Preferred Experience

• TEE and Stress Echo
• 3D echocardiography
• TAVR, MitraClip, VAD, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and closure-device protocols
• Philips iE33 and EPIQ systems
• Epic experience
• Structural heart/valve center experience

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Adult Echo studies according to ASE/IAC guidelines.
• Prepare and monitor patients throughout examinations.
• Review prior reports, images, and patient charts.
• Ensure complete and technically appropriate studies.
• Maintain exam records and logs.
• Maintain inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
