• Shift: Days
  • 0600-1430
• Must work every other weekend
• Candidates for these assignments are required to work every other weekend. Passing meds and blood draws are included in the job duties. Please verify that candidates accepted for this position are comfortable with these skills and schedule requirements
• Patient ratios (if known): Within Guidelines of CA State Law
• Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max: 3 days maximum (None Preferred)
• On Call Requirement? NO
• Certs: BLS, Fire Card
  • MAB/CPI Certification is REQUIRED
• License: Active CA RN License
• If CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed
• If applying for CA License, please contact the Senators office to expediate the application.

Experience:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following:
  • Psychiatric/Behavioral Health
  • Medical-Surgical
  • Correctional Health
  • Emergency Room (ER)
• Must be proficient in blood draws.
• Must be able to work independently, make quick clinical decisions, and remain flexible in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience working in a detention center and/or other secured environment such as in a locked facility in behavioral health unit and/or a jail is preferred
• Assignments will be offered at a Weekly rate/ 16 weeks for JCHS, hiring manager requires recent (1-2 years) either Med surg, ER, some Psych, or Correctional health staff must be comfortable with blood draws and assessments skills /triage.
• Travel experience is preferred, however is not required
• Will accept local travelers
