JD Summary

Position: Registered Nurse I – LDRP
Facility: Cibola General Hospital
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Schedule: 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: 10/26/2026
 

Required:

• Active New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS/CPR – AHA (or equivalent)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• LDRP/perinatal experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – required
• OPS Emergency Workshop & STABLE required within 12 months
• Skilled in labor support, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessment
• Sterile technique/sterile field knowledge
• Pediatric through geriatric patient care
• Must be willing to float to other departments after orientation/training

Preferred:

• SAFER NM Technician certification

Key Duties:

• Full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation
• Labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum care
• Patient/family education
• Newborn assessment
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs and ancillary staff
• EHR documentation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Quality improvement/patient safety
• Float as needed

 Must-Haves:
LDRP experience + BLS + ACLS + NRP + Intermediate Fetal Monitoring + ADN + NM/Compact RN license.
