Description
Travel LMSW Social Work Assignment
- Specialty: LMSW / Medical Social Worker
- Facility: Acute-care hospital in Alaska
- Facility profile: Magnet facility, Level II Trauma, 407 staffed beds
- Assignment: 13 or 26 weeks
- Start: ASAP
- Schedule: 5×8s or 4×10s; listed shift is 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Experience: Minimum 2 years stated; at least 1 year required in the compliance section
- First-time travelers: No
- Acute-care experience: Required — hard stop
- Local candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
- Call: None
- Floating: May float to like units or nearby sister facilities if needed
- Block scheduling: Not available
- Charting: Epic preferred/experience relevant
- Parking: Free
- Scrubs: Provided
License & Education
- Alaska LMSW license: Required.
- Candidates without the license in hand may apply for an Alaska temporary LMSW license.
- Master's degree in social work must be from a CSWE-accredited school.
- Listed certifications/credentials include LMSW, LCSW, or MSW, subject to the facility's requirements.
- Acute-care experience is a hard requirement
