Position: RN – Labor & Delivery
Facility: Maria Parham Hospital
Location: Henderson, NC
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: 3×12-hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Openings: 1

Requirements

2+ years Labor & Delivery RN experience
BLS
NRP
Fetal Monitoring certification
- Must have completed Intermediate Fetal Monitoring at minimum
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring is acceptable/current
Couple care experience
LDRP experience
Some NICU experience
Must be comfortable following AWHONN patient-ratio guidelines

Unit Details

Unit: Labor & Delivery
Beds: 16
Patient Ratio: Per AWHONN guidelines
EHR: GE Centricity / Paragon
Weekend: 5–6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
Call: No scheduled call
Staff may be flexed down based on unit census
May rotate staff as needed
Float: Not routinely required; may float to task/secretary if needed
