JD Summary

Position: RN – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3×12 nights
Weekend: Every other weekend
Contract: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Beds: 29
Daily Census: ~20
First-time travelers: Accepted
Locals: Accepted at the same rate

Must-Haves

• 2+ years RN experience
• BLS required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
• Must be willing to float to other OSU units
• 2 professional references required
  • At least 1 must be a manager/director/formal leader
  • Charge RN acceptable for the second
  • No coworker references

• Patient/family education
• Oxygen and suctioning

• Fall/pressure-ulcer prevention

Certifications listed: BLS, ACLS*, CPI*
(* indicates listed skill/certification requirement; BLS is explicitly required.)

Unit

• Stroke & general rehabilitation
• Transplant, burn and oncology overflow
• 3 high-acuity rehab beds with telemetry
• Lift equipment in every room
• Stand-assist machines
• Support from PT, RT, IV team, pharmacy, social services, radiology, etc.
