Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Assignment

Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Type: Travel / Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
 

Schedule

Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
5 days/week | 8 hours/day

• Must remain past 5:00 PM until all scheduled cases are completed
• Weekend and on-call required, typically every 2nd or 3rd weekend

Position Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures while supporting efficient patient flow and assisting other imaging technologists as needed.

The technologist is expected to maintain imaging quality and safety standards while working within the scope of licensure, certification, and documented competencies.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or an accepted equivalent

Experience

• 1 year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Basic computer experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
• Texas MRT license through TMB required
• BLS required – AHA only
