Job Details

Profession: RN – OB / MedSurg
Shift: 17:45–06:00 (6 PM–6 AM)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Patient Ratio: OB 1:1; MedSurg 1:3 average
Float/Assignment: Will work MedSurg as needed and may work more MedSurg than OB
Scrubs: Any color
Charting: CPSI / Perigen
Facility: Small Rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH)

Requirements

Experience: OB and MedSurg experience required
CAH Experience: Previous Critical Access Hospital experience required
Charge Experience: May occasionally take Charge; no Charge differential
Travel Experience: Preferred
License: Kansas or Multistate license required at submission
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, NRP
AHA: BLS, ACLS, and NRP must be through AHA

Job Description / Duties / Responsibilities

Provide OB nursing care, including 1:1 OB patient care.
Provide MedSurg nursing care as needed, with an average 1:3 patient ratio.
May be assigned primarily to MedSurg depending on facility needs.
May occasionally assume Charge responsibilities.

Flu vaccine strongly preferred; medical/religious exemptions accepted. Candidates may decline but must wear a mask during flu season.
