Position Details

• Position: Supervisor / Charge Nurse
• Departments: Medical-Surgical + Emergency Room
• Facility: Grape Community Hospital
• Shift: Night – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
• Role: Working supervisor — the nurse provides direct patient care while also handling supervisor/charge responsibilities. 

Main Responsibilities

The candidate will:

• Supervise/charge the Med-Surg and ER departments
• Work clinically in Med-Surg and/or ER
• Support nursing staff and patient care
• Handle supervisor/charge responsibilities while remaining hands-on. 

Required Certifications

All four are required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

The facility also asks candidates to submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training they have completed.

Important Experience

The candidate should have:

• Med-Surg experience
• ER experience
• Charge/Supervisor experience
• Ability to work independently in both areas.
