Job Description

This is a Day Shift PCU/Cardiac Tele RN position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The RN will care for adult and geriatric patients in a 30-bed unit, with a typical 1:5 patient ratio. The primary focus is cardiac patients, including congestive heart failure, rule-out MI, acute coronary syndrome, NSTEMI, and arrhythmias, with a secondary focus on respiratory conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, and respiratory failure.

The RN will provide cardiac telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drip titration, pre/post cardiac cath care, TR band management, CVP monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ABG interpretation, IV management, insulin drips, and renal/hemodialysis-related care.

The position requires at least 2 years of experience, cardiac telemetry experience, and Epic experience. ACLS and BLS are required, with NIHSS listed as a certification requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend rotation is required, with every other weekend and holidays as needed. Travelers must also be willing to float to any Cone Health campus as needed.
