Description
RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) - Cedar Rapids, IA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8 hrs | Flexible start between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Weekend: Every Other Weekend, as needed
Call: As needed; currently no formal call requirement
EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months PACU/Post-Anesthesia Care experience
- Current/recent pediatric care experience
- Strong telemetry reading and measurement experience
- Drips/Titration experience
- EPIC experience
- BLS, ACLS & PALS
- Active Iowa or Compact/Multistate RN license
- PACU-specific skills checklist
- Driver’s License
- 24 months of current PACU experience required on resume/profile
Unit: 12 beds | Ratio 2:1 | All patient types
Holiday: Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless unit is closed
