Shift Day 7 AM - 7 PM

Hours Per Week 36

Weekend Requirement Every 3rd Weekend

Holiday Requirement 1 Winter Holiday / 1 Winter Holiday Eve

Float Requirement Yes, as needed to other inpatient units

Required Hard Skills - Surgical / Post-op experience

Required Soft Skills - Ostomy, NG tubes, Wound vacs

Required Licenses & Certifications - RN, BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, NIH stroke

Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:
-Must have a minimum of 2 years RN experience.
-RN must have prior Surgical and/or Radiology experience.
-Must have prior experience with symptom management.
-Ability to manage phone triage and navigation required.
-RN must be compassionate, an excellent communicator and team player.
-RN must have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
