Description
EEG Tech travel assignment
Shift: Day, 5×8 hours
Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Patient population: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
Orientation: 40 hours
Onboarding: In-clinic
Documentation: NeuroWorkbench and Cerner
Modules: HealthStream, approximately 4–5 hours, onsite
Required Qualifications
- Minimum experience: 1 year
- R.EEGT: Required
- ABRET: Required
- BLS: Required
- R. NCS. T.: Preferred, not strictly required
- Candidate should have at least 1 year of experience performing Nerve Conduction Studies if not dual-certified EEG/EMG.
- Skills include:
- EEG electrode placement
- Sleep-deprived EEG
- Sleep EEG
- Adult outpatient EEG
- Assisting with EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies
First-time travelers are accepted. Travel experience is not required.
Important Compliance Requirements
- Alaska license: Required before starting. Compact license can apparently be used at submission, but an AK license must be obtained before start for acute specialties.
- Minimum distance: 100-mile rule applies.
- Local candidates: Not accepted.
- References: Required, but can be submitted as pending.
- COVID vaccine: Required, no exemptions.
- Flu vaccine: Required, no exemptions
