Qualifications:

• Preferred certs: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
  Required certs: BLS, NRP
• Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
• 1 Year Experience required
• Need high risk experience and able to work in fast paced, high acuity environments.
• EPIC exp. HARDSTOP, electronic fetal monitoring
• Functions in the role of Baby Nurse during the delivery and continues care of the newborn until transfer to post partum- HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen
• CIRCULATE - HARD STOP REQUIREMENT do not screen

Description:

• 1ST Timers are Accepted
• pre approved time off will be case by case basis - work every other weekend and Holidays as needed
• FLOAT REQUIRED: Post partum / Antepartum - may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby.
• Patient Diagnoses: Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics as well
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: High Risk/High Volume L&D- all types
  4 ORs
• NB care, eyes, thighs, assessment
• Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate
• Circulate and provide NB care including eyes and Vit K injections - thighs and newborn assessments
• Avg Daily Census: 15/day; 500-600 deliveries/month
