Description
CT Scan Technologist
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist for a travel contract in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Assignment details
- Location: Hackensack, NJ
- Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM
- Friday and Saturday off
- 40 hours per week
- Weekly pay: Up to $4,000
- Contract end date: January 2, 2027
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic CT procedures, produce sectional and 3D images, prepare and position patients, administer contrast, perform venipuncture and IV procedures, monitor patients for reactions, and review image quality through PACS. The technologist will also document in EPIC/PACS and coordinate with radiologists and referring providers.
Requirements
- CT Technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT(R) certification
- NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience with CT equipment, contrast administration, PACS, and complex CT procedures
- EPIC, HIS, or RIS experience preferred
- ARRT(CT) certification preferred
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 pounds.
