Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience — REQUIRED
• Teaching hospital experience — Required
• Trauma Level II experience — Required
• Trauma Level I experience — Preferred
• Community hospital experience — Preferred
• Travel experience not required
• CBSPD or CRCST/HSPA certification accepted
• Medivator experience — REQUIRED
• Censitrac experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred

Skills & Experience

• Decontamination and disinfection
• Instrument and tray assembly
• Steam and STERRAD sterilization
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
• Flexible endoscope reprocessing
• Sterile storage
• Case carts and preference cards
• OR liaison experience
• Censitrac tracking system
• Processing surgical instruments across multiple specialties
• Da Vinci/robotic equipment
• Drills and specialty equipment
• Scope and probe reprocessing

Additional Details

• Floating may be required between locations.
• First-time travelers are welcome with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Candidates should have experience in a high-volume Level I Trauma environment or a similar setting.
• Medivator experience is required.
• COVID vaccine not required.
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only.
• Candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
• Previous permanent staff and return travelers within the health system are not eligible.
