Pediatric ICU RN – Travel Assignment

Position Requirements

• Level I Trauma Facility experience – Required
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand – Required at submission
• BLS – Required
• PALS (AHA Only) – Required
• 2 years of experience – Required
• Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors
• Ability to work with 1:2 patient ratios
• Pediatric ICU/CICU experience — 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if resume demonstrates the required skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Epic EMR experience
• 2 years Pediatric ICU or Pediatric CICU experience

Unit & Clinical Information

• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents
• ICU Float: Travelers may float between ICUs at Arthur M. Blank Hospital and Scottish Rite campuses:
  • Level IV NICU
  • TICU
  • PICU
  • CICU
• If there is no ICU need, travelers may be asked to float to general care areas
• Ventilators: Servo
• RRTs: Utilized in each ICU
• Patient Ratio: 1:2

Weekend & Holiday Requirements

• Every weekend
• Must be available to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas
• Candidates requesting both Thanksgiving and Christmas off will not be considered

Vaccination Requirements

• COVID vaccine: Not required
• Flu vaccine: Required — no exemptions

Compliance & Submission Requirements

• RTO must be submitted at the time of submission
• License must be in hand at submission
• Candidate must sign within 24 hours of offer
• GA release required within 24 hours of signing
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours
• License verification must be completed within 72 hours
• Hard compliance documents due 7 business days before start — no exceptions
• Facility conducts cotinine/nicotine testing and is a nicotine-free campus
• Medication pass/fail test required; unsuccessful second attempt may result in cancellation
• Facility may rescind an offer if required compliance deadlines are not met
