Description

Position: Travel Neuro ICU RN
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts
Contract: 13 or 18 weeks
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience + 2 years Neuro ICU and/or comprehensive stroke center experience
Facility: Large hospital / Comprehensive Stroke Center
Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
EMR: Epic required
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holiday: Every other holiday
Local Travelers: Not accepted; must live 50+ miles away
RTO: Maximum 14 days; must be submitted upfront
Floating: Required to other units/campuses within the Premier Health system
Common Patients: Ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, encephalopathy, neuromuscular disorders, brain/spinal tumors, and other high-acuity ICU patients
Skills: EVD, ICP monitoring, ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia interpretation, post-neurosurgery care, and stroke management
