Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatments to adult, pediatric, and NICU patients.
• Manage respiratory equipment, ventilators, and oxygen therapy.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis.
• Assist with patient transport and respiratory support.
• Support intubation procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and respond to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience for RRT candidates.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience for CRT candidates.
• Previous travel experience is not required.
• CRT candidates with the required experience are welcome; RRT preferred.
• Must have experience relevant to the assigned patient population.
• NICU candidates must have experience with NAVA on Servo ventilators.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Shift & Scheduling

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled during the holiday.
• Overtime may be available.
• No call or standby requirements.
• Scheduling is based on departmental needs; block scheduling may be accommodated when possible.

Additional Details

• Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics, and Level III NICU.
• Care Setting: Acute Care / Inpatient.
• Charting System: EPIC.
• Floating: May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center.
• Equipment: Draeger ventilators, Servo-U ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Optiflow, and other respiratory therapy equipment.
• Orientation: Typically 2–3 shifts, depending on assigned patient population and unit coverage.
• Scrubs: Any color, provided they are clean and professional.

• Candidate must meet the facility’s experience and certification requirements.
• 50-mile radius rule applies.
• Permanent address must be included with the submission to verify that the candidate resides outside the 50-mile radius.
