Shift Matrix: Day Shift | 06:00 – 14:30 (5x8-Hour Shifts)

• Schedule Quality: Monday – Friday core schedule (40 hours per week).
• On-Call Requirement: Yes — Rotating weekday call coverage and every-other-weekend on-call obligation.

• Holiday Policy: Coverage scheduled per unit operational needs.

🚫 Absolute Minimum Qualifications & Departmental Hardstops:

• Licensure & Registry Mandate: Active ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) with MRI specialty credential, along with an active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license held in hand at submission.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated MRI Technologist experience in an acute care or high-volume hospital imaging department.
• Mandatory Certifications: Active AHA BLS.
• Call & Schedule Commitment: Candidate must explicitly commit to the rotating weekday on-call shifts and every-other-weekend call requirements.
• Safety & Technical Competency: Strict adherence to Zone IV MRI safety protocols, magnetic field clearance, patient screening, and contrast agent administration protocols.

Job Summary & Clinical Scope

A facility in Panama City, FL is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an 8-week medical leave coverage assignment in Radiology-MRI 001 (Department 14490). Operating within a primary regional acute care hospital along Florida's Panhandle, the technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care populations.

• Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Operate sophisticated high-field MRI scanners to perform routine and complex cross-sectional sequences, including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, vascular, and cardiac protocols.
• Patient Safety & Screening Governance: Execute stringent Zone IV safety checks, verify metal/implant clearances, screen patients and staff for magnetic field contraindications, and manage patient anxiety or claustrophobia.
• Contrast Administration & Vascular Access: Perform peripheral IV insertions and safely administer gadolinium-based contrast agents per physician orders and department protocols.
• PACS & Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, image archiving in PACS, and complete technical documentation in compliance with ACR standards.
