🔥 NIGHT-SHIFT CARDIAC CARE UNIT (CCU) / ICU RN CONTRACT – CHI ST. VINCENT INFIRMARY
First Connect Health has an immediate 12-week travel contract opening for an experienced Coronary Care / Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Operating within the flagship Cardiovascular Service Line at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary—a premier 600-bed Level II Trauma Center recognized statewide for excellence in heart care—this position features a structured 3x12 overnight schedule (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! This CCU manages the highest acuity cardiac cases in the region, encompassing full-spectrum surgical and medical cardiovascular therapies (everything except heart transplants). If you are a critical care nurse skilled in multi-vessel post-revascularization recovery, hemodynamic titration, continuous dysrhythmia management, and mechanical circulatory support looking to earn $2,095/week with maximum tax-free stipends, this Arkansas contract is built for you!

- Weekly Gross: $2,095.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,267.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $23.00/hr (36 regular hours)
- Overtime Rate: $34.50/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:00 AM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
- Contract Duration: 12-week initial assignment.
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (EOW) rotation.
- On-Call Requirements: NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! (Voluntary on-call available per departmental needs at $7.00/hr).
- Facility & Setting: CHI St. Vincent Infirmary (Level II Trauma Center, 600 beds) / Unit: CCU (Division of Acute Care Nursing).
- Clinical Scope & High-Acuity Cardiovascular Care: Caring for high-acuity adult cardiovascular patients: acute STEMI/NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex ventricular arrhythmias, post-PCI complications, acute decompensated heart failure, valve disease, and post-cardiac surgical recovery.
- Core Competencies: Arterial lines, central venous lines, continuous multi-agent vasoactive infusions (inotropes, pressors, vasodilators), advanced hemodynamic line monitoring, and continuous telemetry rhythm analysis.
- EMR System: Cerner (hospital actively transitioning to Epic in November 2026).
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated acute care CCU or Cardiac ICU (CVICU) nursing experience with verified high-acuity cardiovascular background.
- Licensure: Active Arkansas RN License or Compact/NLC Multistate License strictly in hand at submittal.
- Certifications Required at Submittal:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted; BSN not required.
