·       Number of Staff – 34

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift- 1 charge, 5 nurses, 3 techs

o   Night Shift – 1 charge, 5 nurses, 2-3 techs

·       Patient Ratios – 1:6 for nurses 1:10-15 for techs

·       Type of equipment -

·       EMR -Expanse

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       Familiar with Expanse and admissions and discharges

·       Telemetry

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        Previous Expanse experience

·        Ability to draw labs

·       Prefer at least one year of acute care on a M/S Tele or stepdown unit

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·        Lab draws, IV insertions, foley insertions, Administer IV fluids and medications such as antibiotics

·        Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures

Best personality Fit:

·       Team player. Someone familiar with patient experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       BLS

·       Scrub Color/Attire -  royal blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

·       Attend daily huddle at 0645/1845, bedside shift report, complete required daily charting

Weekends and On call(if any)

·       4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
