Unit Information: 

• Minimum Experience required: 1 year minimum of outpatient PT experience
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

Required License, National Certification, Certs: 

• ME State Licensure
• BLS
• Bachelor’s in PT or above

Average # of patients seen per day: 

• 8-10 patients per day, on average, subject to change

• Skills required:
  • Outpatient experience, manual therapy, exercise science, providing education to patients, providing education on adaptive equipment like walkers/canes/crutches, etc.
• Support within the Department:
  • 2 total PTs
  • 1 PTA, PTA is the supervisor for the clinic
  • Rehab office coordinator will schedule initial evals, PTs will schedule follow-ups
• Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: Cerner
• Floating: If yes, where?
  • Coud float to NL CA Dean Hospital in Greenville (about 30 minutes away) to help cover outpatient or inpatient needs (inpatient is rare). Would know in advance if needed over there.
• Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO
  • 2-3 days department skillset, dependent on skillset and comfort level
• Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: none
  • No call required
  • Holiday Expectations: Rehab department will close on 6 major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day; would be expected to work all other holidays as scheduled
  • Approval of RTO: Manager approval
  • Shift times: Monday – Friday, 0800-1630
