We are seeking an experienced LDRP Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care in a family-centered and medically safe environment.

The LDRP team provides care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn services. The department also provides GYN surgical care, so the RN should be comfortable caring for patients across these areas.

Key Experience Required

Candidates must have experience in:

• Labor & Delivery
• L&D Triage
• Postpartum care
• Nursery/Newborn care

Licensure & Certifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN License required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• NRP required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Perform assessments and provide appropriate care for patients presenting to L&D triage.
• Monitor maternal and fetal condition throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Provide postpartum care and monitor mothers for changes in condition.
• Provide routine newborn/nursery care.
• Support families through the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process.
• Provide safe and family-centered patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide care for GYN surgical patients as required by the department.
• Recognize changes in maternal or newborn condition and respond appropriately.
• Apply basic fetal monitoring knowledge and skills.
• Provide appropriate newborn care based on the patient's clinical needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE experience/certification preferred.
• Previous experience stabilizing high-risk neonates preferred.
• Strong maternal-newborn assessment and clinical skills.
• Ability to work comfortably across LDRP, triage, postpartum, and nursery settings.
