Description
Full-time Surgical Technologist – Neurology/Neurosurgery
Key details
- Pay: $27.26–$38.48/hour
- Schedule: 4×10-hour day shifts, 40 hours/week
- Weekend/holiday/call: Rotating requirement
- Sign-on bonus: $15,000
- Relocation: Available
- Weekend differential: +$2.50/hour
- On-call pay: $3.00/hour
- Call-in pay: 1.5× base hourly rate
- Neurosurgery: 4 dedicated operating rooms
- Cases: Brain and spine surgery, trauma, stroke, tumors, congenital deformities
Qualification breakdown
Surgical Technologist I
- High school diploma/GED
- Surgical Technology program with eligibility for certification, or 2 years of Surgical Technologist/Technician experience without program completion
- Current AHA BLS
Surgical Technologist II
- High school diploma/GED
- Surgical Technology program + certification + 3 years of experience, or
- 5 years of Surgical Technologist experience without certification
- Current AHA BLS
Neurosurgery, neuro, spine, or other high-acuity OR experience is preferred.
Compensation examples
At the posted base range, approximate annual base pay at 40 hours/week is:
- $27.26/hr → $56,701/year
- $38.48/hr → $80,038/year
