Job Summary:

The Sonographer will provide diagnostic ultrasound services as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. The technologist will perform a variety of adult and pediatric general ultrasound examinations, provide quality patient care, and may float across local campuses within the same discipline as needed.
 

Responsibilities:

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients across all age groups.
• Perform adult studies including:
  • Abdominal ultrasound
  • Renal ultrasound
  • Pelvic ultrasound
  • OB ultrasound
  • 1st, 2nd & 3rd trimester exams
  • Biophysical Profiles (BPPs)
  • Breast imaging, if qualified
• Perform pediatric examinations including:
  • Renal
  • Pylorus
  • Hip
  • Echoencephalogram
• Provide safe, compassionate, and professional patient care.
• Obtain appropriate diagnostic images according to departmental protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain equipment and follow applicable safety and infection-control procedures.
• Float across local campuses within the same discipline when required.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Sonographer experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Epic experience
• RDMS, RVT, or ARRT (S)
• All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license.
• Must not have been a UnityPoint employee within the previous 12 months.
• Driver’s License
• Current license verification
• Required certification copies
• Skills Checklist completed within 1 year
• 1 supervisory reference at time of submission

Certification Requirements:

• RDMS
• RVT
• ARRT (S) accepted
• ARRT (S) is not required when the candidate has both RDMS + RVT.
• ARRT (S) with 10+ years of experience may be considered if RDMS is not available.

Preferred:

• GE Logic E10 experience

Schedule & Call:
 

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Weekend coverage only for PTO/call-outs
• On call only for PTO/callouts
• On-Call: $9/hr
• Call Back: 1.5× multiplier with 2-hour minimum
• OT/Holiday: 1.15× multiplier
• Charge/Precept: $6/hr
• NBO: 16 hours
• OT billable after 40 hours for 36–40 hr/week schedules
• OT billable after 48 hours for 48 hr/week schedules

UnityPoint – Trinity Moline is a Level II Trauma Center located in Moline, Illinois. The position is based in the Ultrasound Department and may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.
