Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred. Holds current registered nurse license in state that facility/unit is located. Two (2) years in management/leadership position in addition to long-term care experience is preferred. Acute/Rehabilitation experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Position Summary
Assists the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. Ensures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Assumes the duties of the Director of Nursing in his/her absence as directed.
